Meet The North East TeamArea Manager - Mark Shipley
Mark has worked for England Squash for the last 3 years as area manager in the North East region working to develop squash in the area; is an England Squash UKCC level 3 coach, has represented Yorkahire at over 35 level and plays for a number of clubs in the county. Having played professional football upon leaving school Mark went on to work in the public sector of Sport and recreation and has qualified as a member of sport and recreation management along with gaining a certificate in management studies.
Area Administrator - Ian Woodhead
Ian has worked for England Squash for the last two years and has been working to develop links with schools and clubs in the region. He is an England Squash UKCC level 3 coach and plays for Harrogate Squash Club in the Yorkshire and Harrogate & District League. Before joining England Squash Ian was involved in many other sports including playing Badminton for the county.
