Introducing the Mid East Area Office...
Area Squash Manager - Andy Hastings
Andy joined England Squash in October 2006 having graduated from university with a degree in Leisure Management and having gained experience in sports development working for a national governing body of sport in London. As a junior Andy played county and regional squash and still regularly plays for clubs in Warwickshire, Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire, and is also a licensed Level 2 coach.
Area Administrator - Beckie Herbert
Beckie joined the England Squash team in September 2007 after graduating from Loughborough University with a Sport and Exercise Science degree. Beckie plays squash and other sports recreationally, but is also an international hockey player.
The development of our network of clubs and coaches in the Mid East Region is currently highly important. Forming links with schools, training new coaches and volunteers, and marketing ourselves better should now be the top priorities for squash in the Mid East Region. Any county or club looking for assistance with any aspect of development, or looking to submit any news articles, tournament results etc can contact the Mid East Office here.
