Squash Court Maintenance Manual

As a direct benefit to Clubs and Centres in membership with England Squash, the Squash Court Maintenance Manual is available and provides information on every aspect of court maintenance.

During the year England Squash receive well over 1000 enquiries seeking information on maintenance and refurbishment of squash courts, some of which are dealt with by the provision of the relevant Technical Information Sheet, as listed below, or by discussion with our Technical Consultant on tel/fax: 01707 665800 or email: eric.cruttenden@englandsquash.com  (NB always include your daytime tel.no.)

The Manual provides extensive information on the majority of problems that occur on a squash court, together with inspection programmes and itemised forms for recording repairs or major works carried out. Guidance is also given on various materials and systems that have been used in the construction of courts over many years.

Up-keep of squash courts can be expensive if necessary repairs are not dealt with promptly. The Manual provides information, which will enable Club/Centre managers to recognise problems at an early stage, thereby minimising expenditure and maintaining their courts at a high standard for their players.
