Our Club

We are a private squash members club that has been established for 50 years. Our membership consists of a mixed abilities and is over 170 members strong.The club is solely dedicated to squash and game development. We are positioned as one of the a few 'premier' squash club’s in Kent.

Facilities

The club facilities at Giles Lane Canterbury include four recently refurbished courts in 2013, each with viewing area, ladies and gents changing / shower facilities, lounge and bar area.

Internal Leagues

Canterbury Squash Rackets Club runs club leagues for men and women of any standard.There are normally around 15 leagues in the summer and around 18 in the winter. Our leagues cater for all standards of players.It's a great way to improve your game because you will regularly play members of different styles and tactics developing your game to new levels.

Men's Teams

Canterbury Squash Club have three men's teams that compete in the Outer Kent Leagues and one team that competes in the Northwest Priory Kent League.

Club Tournaments

The club runs a series of internal tournaments for all members that take place throughout the year and culminate in a finals night in June where all the finals are contested to determine the winner of each event!

Open Tournaments

The club host and run a number of open tournaments throughout the year, which attract players from all over the UK. These tournaments cater for players of all standard and are in various formats. The tournaments currently run by the club are: The Fines Cup (February), The Danny Gamble Open (May), The JayTee Cup (July), The Joe Lockyer Doubles Open (September), The Oktoberfest Cup (October) and The Canterbury Open (December)
