Man with a hearing aid on a squash court

Deaf squash

Stepping on court, you are in the zone and ready to take on your opponent. Every serve, every return, every ball counts. This is your time, this is your game and you’re going to give it your all.

Squash is an exciting, dynamic game that can be played by different ages and abilities. It’s an inclusive sport and there are no adaptations needed if you are hearing impaired or deaf. There are some deaf players who have made the world’s Top 10, and there is a deaf world championship too – in fact England are the world individual and team champions!

“Squash changed my life, and I want to help the England Squash Foundation to get other deaf people and young people playing squash.” Noah Duckworth, Deaf squash ambassador.
