Help shape and drive new initiatives that engage more women and girls in squash by joining our Women and Girls Development Group!

Are you passionate about female squash? Do have bags of ideas to engage more women and girls in playing, coaching and refereeing? Apply for our Women and Girls Development Group and help shape the development of new national squash campaigns and initiatives in England.

What's involved?

We're seeking 6 - 8 members from various backgrounds and experiences within squash. As a group member you will:

• assist in the development of new campaigns and projects that will engage more females in squash
• assist in driving Squash Girls Can and help to implement other projects and initiatives and support the growth of squash amongst women and girls
• identify new opportunities to help shape England Squash’s future direction
• work with key contacts in county associations to implement projects and initiatives

In addition to the main priorities outlined above, group members may also support the development of female squash activities within clubs, leisure facilities and education through existing networks where capacity permits.

Skills and experience we're looking for

• Understand the challenges around engaging more women and girls in squash activities through their own experiences.
• Passionate about squash in particular women’s squash.
• Currently involved in squash at any level whether through playing, coaching, refereeing or volunteering.
• Able to create new ideas for projects and initiatives to meet objectives.
• Able to influence key people locally to deliver project through your existing networks.
• Excellent communicators.
• Act as an advocate of England Squash.

This role is initially for 12 months and is voluntary. Meetings will be online and will take place at least every two months. We aim to hold the first meeting week commencing 9th December but will confirm the date and time with the selected group members.
