Join us in celebrating International Women's Day

England Squash are celebrating International Women’s Day on Friday 8th March with a series of case studies, videos and competitions to help get more women and girls involved in squash.

Many coaches, leaders and clubs are already seeing the benefits of joining the Squash Girls Can campaign, so why not use International Women’s Day to get involved or to celebrate your current activities.

Ways to get involved

You can celebrate and share your activities on social media using #SquashGirlsCan and #IWD2019, and by using content from the Squash Girls Can toolkit on your channels. Simply download the content you want to share and schedule your social media posts to promote your activities.

You could also use the opportunity to kick start some activity offer a taster session for women and girls to try the sport, encourage the mums of your juniors to get on court, or create an offer for your current members to bring someone they know to try squash for free.

In addition, coaches and leaders can enter our International Women’s Day app contest where there’s a prize for everyone!

Win prizes

The International Women's Day app contest is for coaches and leaders who deliver Squash Girls Can sessions and record them using the England Squash web app.

Everyone who has recorded 10 players or more at Squash Girls Can sessions by Friday 8th March will automatically receive a 20% discount code for 305SQUASH.
Everyone who has recorded 15 individuals players or more at Squash Girls Can sessions by Friday 8th March 2019 will enter the draw to win a pair of tickets to the Quarter Finals (Saturday 11th May) of The Manchester Open - a women's-only PSA World Tour Silver tournament (2 prizes available).

So give it a go - you might already be in line for rewards! The contest counts players you’ve previously added over the last few months, so some of you might be just a couple of players away or have reached the target already.

For those of you yet to record on the England Squash app, if you already have a session with a number of people coming along - you can start recording now to reach that goal by 8th March! You’ll get access to downloadable videos, posters and images that you can use to promote squash at your venue, and on top of inspiring women and girls across the country, our winners will get some great prizes.
