A stunning performance from Laura Massaro in the final of the 2016 China Squash Open saw her power to the title in straight games to claim her first PSA World Tour title of the season.
Set on the edge of Shanghai’s Bund, the World no.2 produced a dominant display of accurate, disciplined squash in the final to halt Nouran Gohar’s eight-match winning streak, gaining revenge for a defeat to her opponent at last month’s Hong Kong Open.
Massaro justified her top seed, seeing off three of the World’s top 20 players, Joey Chan, Joshna Chinappa and Joelle King on route to claiming her first China Squash Open title.
