Major events

We run six major events every season, catering for the very best players in the squash community.

Allam British Open

The British Open Squash Championships is the oldest and most established tournament in the game of squash. It is widely considered to be one of the two most prestigious tournaments in the game, alongside the World Open.

Who it's for: the very best players from around the world.


British National Championships

The British National Squash Championships are held annually in February at the National Squash Centre in Manchester.

Who it's for: the very best players in the UK and Ireland.

Premier Squash League

The Premier Squash League is a professional squash league organised by England Squash which runs from October to May.

Who it's for: the very best players from around the world.



Inter County Championships

The Inter County Championships provide competitive opportunities for players beyond club level in a team environment, and the opportunity to represent their county.

Who it's for: the very best players in each county.

If you would like to be involved, please contact your county association for details on county training and inter county teams.

National Squash 57 Championships

The National Squash 57 Championships is the pinnacle of the Squash 57 season. They are held annually in July at the Edgbaston Priory Club in Birmingham.

Who it's for: the best players in the UK and Ireland.

Entries open 27th January, and entries close 11:59pm on June 19th


British Under 23 Championships

The British Under 23 Championships were reintroduced to the squash calendar in 2009 after a number of years away and they are now held annually in April at Hunts County Squash Club in Cambridgeshire.

Who it's for: the very best U23 players in the UK and Ireland.

Entries open in January.
