Apply to host a sanctioned competition in 2026-27
Applications to host an England Squash junior sanctioned competition during the 2026-2027 season are now open.
2026-27 calendar
Gold and Silver competitions must be held within one of our designated weekends. Bronze and Copper competitions can be held over any weekend, provided it does not clash with another local competition.

Gold
Gold Competitions 2026-2027
- Gold 1 - 11th to 13th September 2026
- Gold 2 - 2nd to 4th October 2026
- Gold 3 - 4th to 6th December 2026
- Gold 4 - 26th to 28th February 2027
Entry fees - £52.50 per player
ES Gold Levy - £18.50 per player
Maximum 32 draws, run over 3 days
The following criteria will be used to assess your application
- All sponsors for competitions must be approved by England Squash prior to agreements being signed.
- All clubs being used must be within a 30-minute driving radius of each other.
- It is preferred that Semi-Final's and Finals are on a glass back courts with sufficient and appropriate seating for spectators.
- All competitions must have an allocated First Aid officer and Safeguarding Lead at each venue, who has a valid First Aid/Safeguarding qualification and valid DBS..
- All Clubs/Facilities being used must have England Squash affiliation in place up to and including the last day of the competition.

Silver
Silver Competitions 2026-2027
Silver 1 - 19th & 20th September 2026
Silver 2 - 14th & 15th November 2026
Silver 3 - 23rd |& 24th January 2027
Silver 4 - 20th & 21st February 2027
Silver 5 - 10th & 11th April 2027
Silver 6 - 15th and 16th May 2027
Entry fees - £40 per player
ES Silver Levy - £12 per player
Must be run over 2 days. Draw sizes depend on number of courts.

Bronze
Bronze Competitions 2026-2027
- Can be hosted on any weekend providing there is no local clash with another competition
- Entry fees - £25 per player
- ES Bronze Levy - £6.25 per player
Bronze events can be hosted across selected age groups ranging from U9 to U19. These events aim to support players progressing from entry-level tournaments to elite-level junior competitions.
Venues looking to host a Bronze event should be expected to have:
- A minimum set up of three courts.
- Be able to host over the dates stated within the application.
- A tournament team including: Tournament Organiser, Safeguarding Lead and First Aider, who has a valid TO/First Aid/Safeguarding qualification and valid DBS.
- Organisers should actively promote their events and look to put on events suitable to the local playing audience.

Copper
Copper Competitions 2026-2027
- Can be hosted on any weekend providing there is no local clash with another competition
- Entry fees - £20 England Squash members. £25 for non members
- ES Copper Levy - £5 (members) or £6.25 (non members) per player
Copper events can be hosted across selected age groups ranging from U9 to U19. They are entry level events aimed at getting players into events and participating in the sport in a competitive format.
Venues looking to host a Copper event should be expected to have:
- A minimum set up of two courts.
- Be able to host over the dates stated within the application
- A tournament team including: Tournament Organiser, Safeguarding Lead and First Aider, TO/First Aid/Safeguarding qualification and valid DBS.
- Organisers should actively promote their events and look to put on events suitable to the local playing audience.

Aspire (Regional) Junior Closed - Bronze
Aspire (Regional) Junior Closed Competitions 2026-2027
- 17th and 18th October 2026
- Entry fees - £25 per player
- ES Levy - £6.25 per player
- Closing date for applications - 31st August 2026
The tournament team should include: Tournament Organiser, Safeguarding Lead and First Aider, who has a valid TO/First Aid/Safeguarding qualification and valid DBS.

Junior County Closed - Copper
Junior County Closed Competitions 2026-2027
- 26th and 27th September 2026 (counties can choose to run their competitions later in the year)
- Entry fees - £20 England Squash members. £25 for non members (counties can also choose their own entry fees)
- ES Levy - 25% of entry fee per player
- Closing date for applications - 1st August 2025 (for September dates)
The tournament team should include: Tournament Organiser, Safeguarding Lead and First Aider, who has a valid TO/First Aid/Safeguarding qualification and valid DBS.

Tournament Organiser Course
All Tournament Organisers need to complete and pass the course in order to run any England Squash sanctioned junior events or competitions.
