Selby seals comeback crown

Daryl Selby ended a four-year title drought as he captured the 2016 Macau Open, PSA M50 title with a walkover against Hong Kong’s Max Lee.

Selby captured his first PSA World Tour title since April 2012 after Lee was forced to withdraw from the final due to injury.

Lee battled through cramp in the semi-finals to defeat top seed, Marwan ElShorbagy in a five-game thriller, but the World No.17 was unable to recover in time for his fixture with Selby after requiring hospital treatment, handing the Englishman the biggest title of his career.

The victory caps a fine tournament for Selby who had upset the seedings in the semi-finals, defeating World No.21 Indian Saurav Ghosal 3-1, coming from a game down to secure the victory.
