About the Polar Squash Workforce Awards
The annual awards reward and celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of the squash workforce who’ve excelled over the last 12 months.
The 2018 Polar Squash Workforce Awards saw coaches, volunteers, and referees throughout England battle it out for each coveted award which were presented on the show court at the semi-finals of the National Squash Championships on 15th February 2018 in Manchester in front of a packed crowd, alongside the best of British talent.
With four award categories up for grabs this was a great opportunity to reward an outstanding coach, volunteer or referee for their continuous achievements in driving squash in England.
The winners in each category at the 2018 Polar Squash Workforce Awards were:
- Outstanding Coach of the Year: Kelly Eastment
- Special Recognition Award: Bett Dryhurst
- National Volunteer of the Year: Cyril Nolan
- The Tony Parker Award: Referee of the Year: Andrea Santamaria
