England’s youngsters defeated competition from Scotland, Wales, Ireland and France to claim the Five Nations trophies.
The finest juniors in the under-13 and under-15 categories competed in the event held in Cardiff at the weekend and finished as winners for their country.
The under-15s were led by two-time US Open champion Sam Todd, of Yorkshire, and the team included British Junior Open finalist Sam Osborne-Wylde, of Worcestershire, and Katie Malliff, of Buckinghamshire. The line-up was completed by Cumbria’s Adam Goad and Lydia Robinson, of Yorkshire.
British Junior Open semi-finalist Jonah Bryant, Torrie Malik, both of Sussex, Finnlay Withington, of Lancashire, and Suffolk’s Emma Bartley joined former World No.1 Lee Beachill’s son Ben in the under-13 team. Well done to everyone involved.
